Tom Ford is a luxury brand so you pay a little more for the privilege – not as much as the Chanel body spray, granted – but in the case of this men’s body spray, we think it’s worth it.
This body spray has notes of amber fuse (a slightly sweet fragrance that works as a base scent) with cardamom (from the ginger family and which works as a top note).
The heart notes of this men’s body spray are then jasmine, sambac and leather.
The packaging looks great too.

Body spray for men: What to look for
It’s unlikely a body spray for men is going to replace your aftershave, and it’s definitely not an alternative to your antiperspirant deodorant because it doesn’t stop sweat or directly mask it.
Instead, it’s a typically cheaper way of smelling and staying fresh throughout the day, while saving your aftershave for special occasions.
This is because your body spray is a more diluted version that contains a lower concentration of fragrance extracts, such as herbs, oils or spices, mixed with alcohol or water.
Unlike with your deodorant, you spray a body spray on your armpits – although you can if you want. Instead, you can spray these products all over your body, directly onto your skin, and on your clothes without leaving white marks or having to use too much.
A men’s body spray will gradually decline in potency a few hours after application, so it’s better used as a top, or for a stopgap. A lot of aftershave brands offer body spray versions, so you may well be able to find your favourite scent in a lighter form, too.
